So as I've heard and now have seen for myself, computer lab room 212 on the 2nd floor of Thayer keeps their students in the dark. Literally and Figuratively. While I was here on spring break, not only was I not notified that the labs were closing at 4:30 PM, but the hallways near the bathrooms are never lit for students convenience, which is totally dangerous. Other students have experienced this as well--and they are not happy about it. This is especially dangerous because if anyone at Point Park has seen the hallway by that bathroom (which I'm sure you have), it is kind of scary back there. I actually didn't even know those bathrooms existed until this semester, and now that all of this has been brought to my attention, I will probably never use them again. Just kidding...but seriously, probably not at night, beause I won't be able to see and who knows who is lurking back there? If you are working on a paper late at night (or maybe even early in the morning, we haven't investigated that yet), I recommend bringing a flashlight or talking to the janitors, because we all know light bulbs usually aren't burnt out that long before they are replaced.
i am happy to say. THEY HAVE OVERHEAD LIGHTS NOW! this wouldn't have happened without you. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
